Portable Restroom Service Operator

Overview:

• A portable sanitation driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery, pickup, and servicing of portable restroom units at various job sites, events, and construction sites. Key duties include driving a company vehicle to transport portable restrooms to designated locations, setting up and servicing the units with necessary supplies such as toilet paper and hand sanitizer, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the units, performing basic maintenance checks on the equipment, and safely operating cleaning equipment.

Adheres to and enforces compliance with Service Rentals and Supplies, Inc. (Company) policies and procedure, applicable Governmental and regulatory laws. Continuation of employment is dependent upon Company need and satisfactory performance.

Duties:

• Delivering portable toilets to job sites or events as scheduled.
• Picking up portable toilets from job sites or events once the rental period is complete.
• Loading and unloading portable toilets onto the delivery truck using proper equipment and techniques.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of portable toilets before and after delivery.
• Restocking portable toilets with necessary supplies such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and deodorizer.
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance on portable toilets as needed.
• Communicating with clients to confirm delivery and pickup schedules and address any concerns or special requests.
• Navigating to and from job sites efficiently and safely, following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory of portable toilets and supplies.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients by addressing any issues or questions in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license: A portable toilet driver must have a valid driver's license to operate a commercial vehicle and transport portable toilets to different locations.
• Clean driving record: A clean driving record with no major traffic violations is typically required to ensure the safety of the driver and other road users.
• Physical fitness: The ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as portable toilets, is essential for this role.
• Attention to detail: The driver must have a keen eye for detail to ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the portable toilets before delivery.
• Customer service skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important for interacting with clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided.
• Mechanical knowledge: Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance on portable toilets is beneficial for this role.
• Time management skills: The ability to manage time efficiently and navigate to various job sites in a timely manner is crucial for meeting delivery and pickup schedules.
• Flexibility: The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and adapt to changing job site requirements is important for a portable toilet driver.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
