Responsibilities
This position involves utilizing company-provided vehicles and tools, as well as running service calls solo. Because of this, we do require that you have a clean driving record and an active Connecticut HVAC license. We perform ONLY residential work; no commercial work whatsoever.
Our residential service calls involve maintenance tune-ups, diagnosing client issues, and performing any necessary repairs or replacements. We do have an on-call weekly rotation between technicians, so being able to accept new emergency calls up until 8pm is required if you are scheduled for that week.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to competently maintain, diagnose & repair residential HVAC systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Interest in being part of a productive & motivated team
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Adequate personal tools
- Valid Connecticut HVAC license Type S, D, or B
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 4 or more years of experience in residential HVAC service
- EPA License
Physical Demands of the Work Environment
- Climbing up and down ladders or stairs from time to time
- Moderate lifting may be required (15-20) pounds
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Exposure to extreme heat or cold may be required when working in the field
- Dress code is required; uniforms are provided by us
