What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at Service Steel & Pipe?
As receptionist, you will greet visitors and answer the incoming phone calls throughout the day. You will also be responsible for helping with social media marketing and developing content for social media post and website blogs. You will need a good foundation of knowledge with Microsoft Office 365 along with social media platforms and constant contact.
You will be given authority to perform all the responsibilities set forth in this job description below.
Responsibilities:
The Receptionist / Social media Marketing Assistant’s essential function will be to manage the following responsibilities and improve upon them as they grow within their position.
- Internet Market Research: Perform Internet market research on a routine basis to help generate new content for our website and manage blog post to the website. This will be a weekly task.
- Content Management and Creation: Create new content for website/LinkedIn/Facebook on a weekly basis using writing and communication skills. This will require searching for relevant articles online and posting them to website as well as creating new content as needed for social media outlets and website.
- Sales Lead Database Management: Manage the sales lead database management system (Salesforce). This will require entering incoming leads daily and additional information to help run reports as needed.
- Sales Tracking: Update the ongoing sales tracking database in coordination with the Operations Manager and Inside Sales to track trends and identify new opportunities. Also, generating weekly and monthly reports for inside and outside sales managers.
- Newsletter and Email Management: With assistance from Operations Manager, generate quarterly newsletter and monthly email letters to client base which gives them information about the Company and relevant information about our industry.
- Customer Relations: Assist all other Sales Managers when maintaining good customer relations and service. Look for new and better ways to improve customer communications on a regular basis.
- Administrative Duties: Answer incoming telephone calls and distribute them as needed to other employees. This will require extensive interacting with many types of people and personalities. Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone. Direct visitors to different areas and maintain company directories. Maintain security by following the correct procedures with visitors by following protocol.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
