What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Personnel position at Service Thread?

We are currently seeking Lead personnel. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, short term disability, and life insurance for full time employees.
Accountability Functions:
- Follow established company policies and procedures
- Set-up items to specification and perform first piece inspection.
- Comply with all policies and procedures including but not limited to machine set-up reports (MSR’s), work instructions, Microsoft Teams and PowerBI
- Provide necessary components required daily and issue to assigned operators to meet production needs
- Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned department
- Record, review and address through action plan: backwinds, non-conforming packages, rework, and machine efficiency daily
- Enter repair work orders accurately and immediately
- Comply with production to schedule requirements daily
- Ability to accurately scan inventory labels as required
- Report issues/hazards/opportunities for improvement to direct supervisor
- Required to report to and work other shifts as needed
- Other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience - preferred
- Must be detail-oriented
- Understanding of production and plant processes
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to lift 25-30lbs
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours per shift
- Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
