What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer Drafter position at Service Trucks International, Inc.?
A Designer/Drafter will prepares clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches, notes or prototypes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses Solidworks to create finished designs or drawing adjustments from sketches, models or notes.
- Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, and materials to complete drawings in accordance with internal procedures and industry standards.
- Resolves manufacturing issues for fit or function, strong tolerance stack up understanding.
- Creates and updates product manuals & other technical writings.
- Evaluate time, process, or sequence on shop floor for drawing or production changes.
- Highly proficient in multiple task prioritization, time management and understanding direction.
Candidates should have an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
