Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, linens, and furniture, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces in both guest rooms and common areas.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
• Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring all linens are clean and well-maintained.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members, embodying the principles of hospitality.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is an asset.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as necessary during cleaning tasks.
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
