Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer at Serviceaide in Tampa, FL. As a Senior Software QA Engineer at Serviceaide, you’ll quickly become proficient in our flagship product, ChangeGear, understanding customer use cases and product workflows.
You'll define comprehensive test strategies, detailed test plans, and test cases that ensure the highest standards of quality, particularly for enterprise and AI-driven solutions.
Collaborating closely with development, management, and other cross-functional stakeholders, you'll design, document, and manage test scenarios using Azure DevOps.
Your responsibilities will include leading and conducting feature, regression, load, and performance testing, proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues, conducting root-cause analysis, documenting defects, tracking and verifying solutions.
You will assist in modernizing our test methods using advances in AI-Augmented Software testing tools.
As a senior team member, you will take ownership of expanding and improving our automation frameworks, using tools such as Selenium and Katalon. You will also mentor junior QA engineers, helping to elevate team capabilities through best practices, industry standards, and continuous learning.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with test automation tools like Selenium, Katalon.
- Strong experience conducting load and performance testing, as well as functional, regression, and API testing.
- Experience in scripting languages (PowerShell strongly preferred).
- Experience with database troubleshooting (MSSQL) and familiarity with web-based technologies such as IIS, .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with REST API testing tools and methodologies.
- Exposure to virtualization platforms like Hyper-V or VMware.
- Experience with CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in software QA roles, with a strong track record of leadership and strategic test planning.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Proven experience mentoring and guiding junior QA team members.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams including development and product management.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive mindset, and passion for quality assurance.
- Prior experience or exposure to IT Service Management (ITSM) or Enterprise Service Management (ESM) solutions.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices, Help Desk, and Change Management tools.
- Experience or exposure testing AI-based solutions and familiarity with validating AI-driven functionality.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning validation techniques, including model accuracy testing or data-driven test scenarios.
- Familiarity or exposure with AI-Augmented software testing tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
