Cleaning Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Carry out custodial duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Engage in industrial cleaning processes as needed, utilizing appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
• Buff and maintain floors to ensure they are polished and free from scuff marks.
• Assist with commercial cleaning projects, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned according to specifications.
• Support residential painting efforts when required, contributing to the overall upkeep of properties.
• Act as a porter by transporting materials and supplies as necessary within facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are stocked appropriately.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care practices, including buffing and polishing methods.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
