ServiceMaster by Benevento's accounts receivable/payable clerk is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds. This role also is support to Finance, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt/payment for goods and services completed by the organization.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of previous experience in office administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, QuickBooks, and Excel.
- 3 Years’ experience in a related field.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently reaching weekly goal of keeping the 60 day outstanding invoices to less than 25% of all AR.
- Each month collect previous months invoicing.
- Printed Aging Reports and Monthly statements make necessary calls to collect on past due accounts and distribute company wide.
- Maintain a positive rapport with customers
- Help in other areas of collections as needed.
- Maintain Restore files pertaining to collections
- Print and mail invoices with supporting documents weekly.
- Make outbound calls and visit customers regarding delinquent accounts, setting up payment arrangement when necessary
- Response with collection procedures quickly to account once it has been determined by manager to be delinquent
- Enter accounts receivable payments into QuickBooks and notated in Restore
- Enter cash receipts into QuickBooks
- File Liens
- Lead collection person for all self-paid upon completion of services or approval of estimate whichever is last
- Responsible to review files for collections compliance
- Responsible to file legal paperwork (small claims, payment plan or send over to collections) with in the 90 days of final invoice date
- General overall review of current legal documents necessary for payment
- Training staff on the collections process
- Provide assistance for ongoing and new special projects when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
