Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning the Bathrooms, as well as the Dining Room and Kitchen floors for a small dessert shoppe. The work can be done either late at night (after closing) or early in the morning (before opening), and will take approximately 1.5 hours, seven days a week.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize fixtures in bathrooms
- change out bathroom garbage
- restock toilet tissue, hand towel, and soap
- Thoroughly sweep and mop bathrooms, dining room, front line, back line, and kitchen.
- Check baseboards, door moulding, areas around door handles and light switches for soiled areas, and treat as needed
- Alert management if supplies are low
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in custodial practices with experience in commercial cleaning preferred, though will train
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is a plus, as we may be able to offer occasional evening/weekend work at other locations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Reliability and ability to work independently;

Pay: $17.00 - $18.25 per hour
