What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian (part-time) position at ServiceMaster Clean?
Part-Time In Culpeper
Shift Times Available: 4:30pm - 8:00pm
Duties:
- Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towel holders, and toilet paper dispensers
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as buffing floors and shampooing carpets
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a custodian or porter preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment used in custodial work is a plus
