Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. Must pass criminal background check and drug screen. Requires employee to work 4-10 hour shifts. We have day and evening shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- Maintain and care for floors by buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Conduct residential painting tasks as needed
- Ensure proper sanitation of restrooms and common areas
- Handle waste disposal and recycling activities
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks
- Execute commercial and industrial cleaning duties
- Act as a porter for moving furniture and equipment
Skills
- Experience in custodial or janitorial work
- Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Familiarity with residential painting is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
