JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Janitor in a Warehouse Setting

LABOR INTENSIVE - JANITORIAL WORK IN AN INDUSTRIAL SETTING

SCHEDULE(S) AVAILABLE (PART-TIME)

-Monday - Friday

7:00 am-12:00pm

AND

-Monday, Wednesday, Friday
4:30 pm - 9:30 pm
-Tuesday & Thursday
4:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Alternating weekends & 1 Sunday every 6 weeks

Reports To: Manager

Key Responsibilities and duties:

• Daily cleaning of areas that include removal of cardboard, trash, and plastic
• Recycle plastic and cardboard boxes
• Dispose of trash from all offices and buildings daily
• Clean, dust & disinfect all desks, computers and phones
• Restock custodial closet
• Refill paper towels, soap, and toilet paper daily
• Sweep daily
• Mop daily
• Dispose of mop water in designated mop water totes
• Dust mop daily
• Clean MEN's restrooms & MEN's Showers daily
• Must clean up trash around facility perimeter on a daily basis
• Clean doors, doorknobs and light switches
• Clean windows

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Great attendance and punctuality record.
• Have a sense of urgency in processing orders and able to work in a high stress work environment.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in the janitorial, cleaning or warehouse industry
• Have the ability to read and communicate in English
• Have a working knowledge of basic cleaning equipment
• Physical ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Maintain a professional image at all times
