JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Custodial/Janitorial worker in a Warehouse setting

**INCLUDES STACKING, LOADING & UNLOADING PALLETS

Reports To: Manager

Key Responsibilities and duties:

• Daily cleaning of areas that include removal of cardboard, trash, and plastic
• Recycle plastic and cardboard boxes
• Load, Unload & stack pallets from the incoming trailers
• Sweep and clean out trailers
• Tag trailers once they’re cleaned
• Restock custodial closet
• Dust mop work area on a daily basis
• Clean warehouse restrooms (2 individual)
• Must clean up trash around facility perimeter on a daily basis

**Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Great attendance and punctuality record.
• Have a sense of urgency in processing orders and able to work in a high stress work environment.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in the janitorial, cleaning or warehouse industry
• Have the ability to read and communicate in English
• Have a working knowledge of basic cleaning equipment
• Physical ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Maintain a professional image at all times
