Position Title : Large Loss Superintendent

Location : Florida

Salary & Compensation :

Base salary starts at $110,000, with potential for higher based on experience.
Additional compensation available for time spent out of town.

Position Overview : Join the leader in the Disaster Restoration industry as a Large Loss Superintendent, managing significant reconstruction projects across the country. This role requires a highly organized and experienced professional based in Florida, who is prepared to travel and manage projects away from home for much of the year. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and rewarding projects in the industry, with the added benefit of travel and additional compensation for out-of-town assignments.

Job Responsibilities :

Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale residential and commercial rebuild projects, often in various locations.

Direct communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Cultivate and maintain a robust network of subcontractors that can mobilize quickly for project demands.

Manage logistics for materials, permits, inspections, and project timelines to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Address technical issues, report to the Vice President of Construction, and ensure all projects adhere to the defined scope and specifications.

Assist in the change order process, including estimation, approval, and documentation.

Ensure timely and high-quality completion of all construction tasks, managing multiple projects concurrently.

Candidate Requirements :

Experience : Minimum of 10 years in construction, with a proven track record in managing large loss or complex reconstruction projects.

Leadership : Ability to lead and shape a positive team culture, managing both in-house and subcontractor teams.

Travel : Willing to travel and stay out of town for approximately 182 days per year

Network : Must have an established base of subcontractors who can mobilize for projects across different regions.

Skills :

Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Capable of managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously.

Valid driver's license; ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Compliance : Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Software : Experience with Xactimate is highly beneficial.

Reporting Structure :

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Construction.
