Janitorial Staff

We are looking for an experienced cleaner to report to our Emmaus office each day for their assignments.

• Shift is typically Monday – Friday, flexible start times after approximately 5:00pm
• Rotating weekend coverage, typically one weekend per month, additional volunteer overtime hours are often available if desired.
• Job involves use of company vehicle, must have valid driver’s license. Position requires use of own vehicle if company vehicle is not available (reimbursed for use of own vehicle).

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of janitorial practices and techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Ensure all areas are sanitized and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Manage time effectively to complete cleaning assignments within designated schedules.
• Utilize industrial cleaning techniques and equipment as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain a valid driver's license for transportation of cleaning supplies and equipment when necessary.
