Job description
This position is to ensure that Operations Departments are supported and assisted with ongoing management of all contract insurance program accounts and TPA. An Account Manager also supports Accounting, Marketing and Management as needed with data, payment support, any program related communication.
This position will report to the Manager of Account Management. This position may also be asked to report to another member of management in the case of an emergency level workload.
Duties and responsibilities
· Communicate project information on all water and new program account projects.
· Verify that all projects have signed auth forms and assist in procuring signed authorizations when required.
· Input data on Program account customers from field service documents, including estimator project notes and relevant source documents, using the appropriate estimating and information system and techniques.
· Maintain program loss communications protocols such as (but not limited to) Alacrity, Symbility, Xactware, MICA, Livegenic and other specialty program loss protocols required by insurance companies, customers and management.
· Assist in communication to the branch to notify as soon as possible if there is missing documentation that would prevent the project from proceeding forward to be billed and paid.
· Serve as a communications liaison between branch staff and insurance carrier claims representative and/or claims review departments.
· In conjunction with the project manager, upload or in the carrier specified manner forward project information to the appropriate parties within established time frames.
· Prepare company billing source documents for processing by Company Accounting department.
· Complete various special projects for Management and Branch staff as needed in a timely and quality fashion.
The duties of the PROGRAM ACCOUNT MANGER are, but not limited to, as follows:
· Use of multiple computer software’s
· Flexibility to provide assistance during branch catastrophe events.
· Ability to complete proper and efficient management of Multiple program files at once.
· Proper communication with branch staff and insurance company representatives.
· Participate in meetings for department, company, TPA company, program and branch topics relating to program files as requested.
· Establishing repour with all company departments, clients, vendors or company affiliates.
· Training of new hires, branch training and peer training as needed or requested.
· Peer review for inter department employee’s
· Complete data in reports as needed or requested.
· Have an understanding and updated on all new and old program requirements and guidelines.
· Utilize tools provided to complete uploaded properly and efficiently.
· Problem solving and brainstorm techniques, issues, customer service issues and more with multiple departments as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
