Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the comprehensive daily operations and management of assigned projects. This encompasses estimation, personnel oversight, subcontractor management, safety compliance, adherence to industry standards, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws. The role also includes project pricing and overall profitability accountability.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors using Xactimate software and update as needed
- Identify and assess project risks and opportunities, incorporate findings into bids.
- Prepare and present bid proposals to insurance adjusters, including revisions.
- Review and analyze bid results for continuous improvement.
- Maintain bid records and all documentation in Restore365.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage all project phases: procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, local building codes, and safety regulations.
- Perform regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
- Investigate and address job site issues such as accidents, delays, or construction problems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors.
- Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Attend weekly construction meetings and report on project status.
- Negotiate scope and pricing with insurance adjusters and subcontractors.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Delegate tasks effectively and foster a collaborative, positive work environment.
- Develop a consistent, reliable network of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Implement cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Review job board daily to manage project expenses.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, reports, and change orders.
- Provide regular project status reports to the Construction Manager and Coordinator.
- Ensure safety protocols and company procedures are followed on all jobs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Skills/Qualifications
Required
Required
- Must be physically able to perform restoration tasks and lift heavy objects when required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality control standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
- Proven experience in project management within the insurance restoration or construction industry.
- Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Restore365 or similar project management platforms is a plus.
Work Environment
This is an in-field position that requires frequent travel to and from active jobsites. Jobsites may contain asbestos, microbial growth, lead, or other hazardous materials; personal protective equipment or PPE will be provided.
Jobsites may or may not have electricity; expect to work in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Physical Demands
This position will typically require the employee to stand or walk for extended periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor. Expect to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items often for this position.
