A Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in the company by supporting the Branch Manager and Project Managers oversee field operations, managing production crews, and ensuring high-quality restoration services. This position is responsible for supervising projects, maintaining compliance with company standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Production Supervisor will work closely with various departments to ensure operational efficiency and will also be part of an on-call rotation for emergency response.

Position Summary
A Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in the company by supporting the Branch Manager and Project Managers oversee field operations, managing production crews, and ensuring high-quality restoration services. This position is responsible for supervising projects, maintaining compliance with company standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Production Supervisor will work closely with various departments to ensure operational efficiency and will also be part of an on-call rotation for emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and develop production teams to meet ServiceMaster and industry standards.
- Oversee daily project schedules, ensuring all required documentation, photos, and notes are completed accurately.
- Maintain accountability for project profitability and adherence to budgets.
- Conduct inspections and ensure work is completed to company and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to review scopes, job updates, and address potential customer service issues.
- Ensure compliance with all company protocols, proprietary software, and industry best practices.
- Maintain warehouse organization and ensure vehicles are properly stocked, cleaned, and maintained.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet company standards.
- Provide performance reviews and coaching to production staff while ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Other duties as assigned or apparent.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- Analytical thinking
- Fluent in industry standards and protocols
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in disaster restoration.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills.
- Experience overseeing large commercial and residential restoration projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn proprietary software.
Preferred
- OSHA 10/30/40 Certification
- Familiarity with restoration industry software such as Xactimate, DocuSketch, MICA, or Restore 365.
- IICRC certifications in water, fire, or mold restoration.
- Lead Certification
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
Work Environment
This is an in-field position that requires frequent travel to and from active jobsites. Jobsites may contain asbestos, microbial growth, lead, or other hazardous materials; personal protective equipment or PPE will be provided.
Jobsites may or may not have electricity; expect to work in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Physical Demands
This position will typically require the employee to stand or walk for extended periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor. Expect to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items often for this position.
