We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in East Valley. The successful candidate will manage the company's financial records and accounts, coordinating the preparation of financial statements and providing accurate and timely reporting to management. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage all aspects of accounting, including billing, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and special analyses.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounts in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
- Monitor cash and funding balances to ensure financial health.
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure tax compliance.
- Perform additional controller duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficient in accounting software (especially QuickBooks Online) and spreadsheets (Excel).
- 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, cost accounting, and GAAP.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
