ServiceMaster Rapid Response is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, or storm damage. This role involves hands-on work in a variety of environments requiring attention to detail, customer service skills, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work within a team, follow directions and stay on task
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work in potentially hazardous conditions, including confined spaces and wet environments.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass background check
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of building structures and materials.
- Experience in water, fire, or mold damage restoration
- IICRC certification or willingness to obtain certification (Water Damage Restoration Technician, Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation, etc.).
- Experience working with restoration industry software and tools.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles
Job Description
- Responds to emergency service calls related to water, fire, mold, and storm damage, to include water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, cleaning, light construction and demolition
- Set up, operate and monitor equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying equipment
- Clean up and/or remove damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, and insulation.
- May perform other cleaning duties (i.e., construction cleaning, fire/smoke/odor cleaning, mold remediation, carpet and upholstery cleaning, etc.) when part of mitigation or restoration jobs
- Document work performed and provide updates on project status.
- Ensure safety protocols and company guidelines are adhered to during all restoration projects.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with homeowners and businesses.
- Participate in after-hours emergency response rotation, as needed.
