ServiceMaster Apple Valley of Plantsville, CT is a disaster restoration company that’s locally owned and operated for over 25 years. We’re currently hiring WATER-CERTIFIED Service Technicians for our Restoration team of trained professionals. We’re looking for someone who can be diligent about their role in helping salvage properties and go the extra mile to make a difficult situation as less painful as possible for our customers.

Service Technician Requirements:
- Experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or a related industry is a huge plus
- IICRC Water Certification is required for this position
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to travel to our office in Plantsville, CT each morning before using our company vans
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability work in a physically intensive work environment
- Nights, weekends, and on-call hours will occasionally be needed (with bonus pay)
- Willing to undergo a background / drug check upon employment
Water Restoration Service / Production Technician Responsibilities:
- Loading the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
- Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, clean equipment appearance, and job site
- Respectful and friendly demeanor when greeting customers
- Preparing rooms/areas for work activities
- Setting up staging areas and equipment for each project
- Taking direction from our Lead Restoration Supervisor
- Ensuring clear two-way communication with supervisor and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)
- Performing end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown
