Part Time Evening Floor Janitor

Job Position Description: Creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers' buildings and grounds is a key responsibility of this position. The following duties and responsibilities are essential to achieving this goal:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
• Cleaning duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving furniture and equipment, etc.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as needed.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn are necessary
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast-paced, multi-tasked job is essential
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort, including being in uniform, dependable, and on time
• Respect and understanding for co-workers and customers are necessary
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Must have a clean background
