ServiceMaster of Kalamazoo is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our clients' facilities.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for performing all cleaning duties using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, vacuuming, moving furniture and equipment, etc.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
Use of proper PPE where required.
Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as required.
Requirements:
1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
On-the-job training provided to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs.
Ability to read cleaning instructions
Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
