Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure floors are well-maintained.
• Assist with custodial duties commercial settings, ensuring all spaces are sanitary and welcoming.
• Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
• Support facilities maintenance by performing minor repairs and upkeep as required.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning hazardous materials or spills safely.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation, particularly in custodial and commercial cleaning environments.
• Experience with floor care methods including buffing and polishing is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning standards and practices is advantageous. ( Must be able to lift,carry and pull up to 50lbs .

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while completing multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Physical Setting:

• Warehouse

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed
