Family Support Specialist 1 Family Empowerment
Fulltime
Location : Northampton, MA
Salary : $41,454.40 Annually
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 Hours daily, between 9AM-5PM with flexibility to best meet case load needs, adjusting hours as needed. Some travel for In-Person Outreach Services made available throughout Hampshire & Franklin Counties.

Family Empowerment, believes that information is power for families and individuals to build a rich and full life as they live and grow in their communities. We help families find state, local and private resources to develop a unique plan of action - and along the way create and offer a host of activities for fun, education and inclusion. Family Support Specialists are a key resource to families who have a member with a disability! You will provide training, needed information, access to resources, family support contacts and referrals to other agencies and supports. On a wider level, you will help educate the community about disabilities and / or autism and how to help better support families, as well as facilitating social, educational, support groups and recreational activities for people of all ages.
