What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advisory Solution Consultant IT Asset Management position at ServiceNow?
The Solution Consultantis a technical consultantwiththe advanced ability todevelop position andprovideproductspecificsolutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory specific to a particular industry vertical (e.g. Healthcare & Life Science).
- Serve as a thought leader on IT Asset Management (inclusive of hardware asset management software asset management) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for ServiceNow
- Develop and maintain strong alignment with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide and advocate for product enhancements roadmap additions and to relay feedback from the field & customers
- Create and own programs that enable / train Solution Consultants and Sellers to demonstrate the value of ITAM and EAM
- Create and own efforts to generate and mature ITAM and EAM pipeline for customers within the United States (e.g. webinars in person events workshops)
- Contribute to and maintain a showcase of ITAM solutions created on the ServiceNow platform
- Assist the sales personnel in qualification of customer needs and performing business value assessments to determine value for clients
- Demonstrate of solutions both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers
- Respond to requests for information / proposal (RFIs RFPs)
- Scope and deliver Proof of Concept / Proof of Value engagements with prospects
- Support Marketing events user conferences trade shows webinars summits practitioner workshops
- Stay current on competitive analysis and understand how to best position ServiceNow solution to ensure we keep ahead of opportunities obstacles and challenges
- Understand business and technical problems addressed by the product including key regulations business drivers evolving business needs etc.
- Up to 20% travel required

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $131925 $217725 plus equity (when applicable) variable / incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
