The Associate Data Informatics Analyst  role is a very important role that involves leading and building out design solutions for our P5 team, working extensively with Power BI. As a Power BI Technical Lead, you will be an expert in all things Power BI, responsible for strong design and visualization, and mentoring other Power BI projects.  

The position requires a portfolio of analytics work, including scorecards and making things look super professional. You will also hold office hours to assist the entire business unit with Power BI, with a focus on both analytics and Power BI equally.  Please see below what you get to do in this role and how to be successful.

What you get to do in this role: 

• Build Data Visualizations: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide meaningful insights for the security team. 

• Work with Data Warehouses: Learn how to connect and analyze data from Snowflake and other data sources to support business needs. 

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with stakeholders from different teams to understand their data needs and help turn raw data into actionable insights. 

• Learn & Grow: Gain hands-on experience with data visualization, business intelligence tools, and best practices for data analytics in a real-world environment. 

• Present Insights Effectively: Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, helping drive data-informed decisions. 

• Maintain Data Accuracy & Best Practices: Follow data governance and quality assurance processes to ensure reports are reliable and consistent. 

Qualifications

Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry. 

What makes you a great fit: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline), earned in 2024 or expected in 2025.  

• 0-2 years of experience working with data, whether through internships, school projects, or personal initiatives. 

• Familiarity with Power BI (or similar visualization tools like Tableau or Looker). If you’ve worked on school projects or internships using Power BI, we want to hear about it! 

• Basic knowledge of SQL – You don’t need to be an expert, but understanding how to query data will help you in this role. 

• Excited to learn! We value fast learners who can pick up new tools and concepts quickly. 

• Strong communication skills – You should be comfortable explaining data insights to others, even if they aren’t data experts. 

• Problem-solving mindset – You enjoy working with data to uncover insights and solve business challenges.

Nice to have (but not required): 

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse. 

• Familiarity with DAX and Power Query for Power BI. 

• Previous experience in security analytics or working with security-related data. 

• A Microsoft Power BI certification or coursework in business intelligence tools.
