Job Description
What you get to do in this role :
- Team Leadership & Collaboration : Lead a diverse and collaborative team of UI designers and developers. Foster a culture of creativity, quality, and continuous learning while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Partner closely with Platform Engineering and Application Engineering teams to ensure smooth cross-functional communication and execution of UI initiatives.
- UI Strategy & Vision : Define and implement a unified UI strategy that aligns with ServiceNow’s overall product vision and user experience standards. Ensure consistency and usability across multiple platforms and devices.
- Design & Development Oversight : Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring that the user interfaces are visually appealing, functional, and accessible. Collaborate with developers to translate design prototypes into high-quality, responsive code.
- Cross-functional Partnership : Work closely with Platform Engineering to ensure that UI design and development efforts are aligned with technical requirements and limitations. Support Application Engineering in customizing and optimizing UIs based on specific use cases and user needs.
- User-Centered Approach : Advocate for and apply a user-centered design process throughout all phases of product development. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve UI / UX.
- Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement : Ensure that the final UI product meets ServiceNow’s high standards for quality, performance, and accessibility. Identify areas for continuous improvement and provide mentorship to team members to develop their skills.
