Service Point has customer seeking a Project Manager for a 3-month 100% onsite position located in Bloomington IN. This is a Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM position.
The main responsibilities are as follows :
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for IT infrastructure projects
Develop project plans and timelines, including resource allocation and dependencies
Manage project budgets and track expenditures to ensure cost control
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure upgrades
Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and senior management
Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future projects
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in network infrastructure, server administration, storage systems, and data center operations.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other IT governance frameworks
- Understanding of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
- Ability to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Proven track record of managing project budgets and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Strong risk management skills to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies
- Experience with Agile methodologies and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
