The ideal candidate will be a proven leader, capable of orchestrating large teams, managing site logistics, and ensuring smooth project execution in dynamic, high-traffic environments.
This role includes direct oversight of field teams, scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and resource management. Success in this position requires hands-on leadership, rapid problem-solving, and the ability to maintain control over multiple moving parts in active project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage West Coast field projects from initiation to completion, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and financial performance.
- Oversee large teams and direct site activities, ensuring smooth coordination and adherence to project plans.
- Develop and enforce traffic control strategies to manage workflow, personnel movement, and site logistics.
- Maintain comprehensive project oversight, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Prepare small proposals for local sales, leveraging expertise in materials and labor costs.
- Manage project payroll, credit card approvals, and administrative processes to support operational success.
- Actively address and resolve workforce and HR challenges, maintaining strong team performance and morale.
- Ensure precise documentation in an online collaboration system for real-time project tracking.
- Anticipate future workload needs and implement proactive solutions for seamless execution.
- Maintain communication with upper management, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive project alignment and success.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices, integrating innovative approaches into project execution.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience managing large-scale field projects in structured cabling, low-voltage systems, or IT infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead large groups effectively, including managing workforce movement and high-traffic work environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of structured cabling, network infrastructure, and low-voltage system applications.
- Expertise in scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and financial oversight to ensure project profitability.
- Ability to resolve HR challenges while maintaining a positive, high-performing field team.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Hands-on experience with on-site project coordination, ensuring all operational elements align for success.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Willingness to travel as needed across the West Coast.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
