Associate Director, US Portfolio Performance and Strategy

Role Summary The Associate Director, US Portfolio Performance & Strategy reports into Sr. Director of In-line Portfolio Performance and Strategy within CBO team. US CBO oversees corporate and pipeline strategy, development (business development and alliance management) and operations (PMO office, business excellence and shared operations) among other responsibilities. The Associate Director, US Portfolio Performance & Strategy will be responsible for ensuring that US is best positioned to deliver on its strategy and business priorities for marketed products. This person will lead collaboratively through influence and direct, as appropriate, cross-functional project teams and be a trusted advisor / leader to the working group leaders, Inline Chair, and CBO team. The AD is responsible for owning and supporting major Inline committee workstream deliverables and ensure the recommendations to Inline Committee are strategic, clear and actionable.

In-Line elevates key subject matter experts to be directly involved in and accountable for business performance and strategic deliverables
In-Line reduces LT time-strain and involvement in day to day processes by ensuring only comprehensive and cross functionally vetted deliverables are passed through for review
In-Line will enhance deliverables through greater cross functional collaboration and new accountability measures
Primary Responsibilities :
Ensure deliverables are at the highest quality ahead of strategic planning cycle which includes an integrated cross functional plan, financial deliverables for annual business review and long-range plan.
Education and Required Skills :
Graduate degree (MBA, PhD, or similar) a plus
Understanding of oncology or rare disease markets and stakeholder perspectives with a proven ability to quickly gain in-depth understanding of various disease states preferred
