SECONDARY ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL/ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
SAD #4 provides a highly progressive school environment where students come first. Dynamic leadership qualities will be rewarded
with the opportunity to work with students, a talented, dedicated staff, in a technology rich environment.
The successful candidate will assist in daily school operations, attend school meetings, district meetings, and help maintain an orderly and safe school. Other duties will include the coordination and supervision of all Grades 6-12 athletics. This person will oversee day-to-day athletic responsibilities, hire/retain/evaluate/support the coaching staff, prepare and maintain athletic facilities for use, manage the budget and inventory,
collaborate with other administrators and officials and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Other skills important to this position are the ability to foster collaborative and positive school/ community communication,
effective organizational skills, and proficiency in a variety of on-line technology tools including Powerschool.
Salary Commensurate With Qualifications And Experience
Must have or be able to get Maine Certificate #045
