We aim to hire a long term social studies substitute teacher for grades 9-12 to increase student achievement by providing interventions to students utilizing proven research-based techniques. Maine Arts Academy expects faculty and staff to remain current with professional development activities appropriate to their fields and to participate in the school's in-service days, student performances, and other school functions. Maine Arts Academy offers 100% employer-covered health insurance for full time employees as well as half-day Fridays throughout the school year. This long-term substitute would be eligible for employment during the 2025-2026 school year and beyond.
