The Sanford School department has openings for 2 Ed tech positions in The Bridge program. Our program uses a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide educational and clinical services to students who have not been succesful navigating the demands of a traditional school setting. The Bridge provides a combination of traditional instruction (both individual and small group) and hands on, experiential learning for students. Below is a general description of the qualfications and responsibiities of an Ed tech III. Our program is seeking individuals who take initiative, display good communication skills, and are able to work within a team model for the betterment of students and families.
Ed. Tech III

Ed. Tech III
- Qualifications:
- Document a minimum of ninety (90) credits of approved study in an educationally related field; or, for career and technical education authorization, document a minimum of three (3) years of paid applied employment within the field of assignment;
- Document participation in in-service training required in the specialty area of employment; and
- Have the ability to relate to students, school personnel and the public.
- Permitted Responsibilities:
- Perform all of the duties of an Ed. Tech I and II; and
- Supervise small groups of students in community-based programs.
- Assist the teacher in delivery of instruction and implementation of positive, behavioral support plans.
- Job Goal: To provide a well-organized smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.
- Reports to: Assigned Teacher.
