Job Description

Hancock Grammar School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pre-K Ed-Tech to join our vibrant school community.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children.

This role requires patience, adaptability, and a strong passion for early childhood education.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a love of learning

in our youngest learners (ages 3-5).

Qualifications/Characteristics Of The Ideal Candidate

  • Must hold a valid Maine Educational Technician II or III certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children ages 3-5 is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices.
  • Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Genuine interest in working with children!
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a variety of situations and settings.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the program.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
