Social Worker 25/26 School Year - Margaret Chase Smith Elementary
The Sanford School Department has an opening for an LCSW to support students in the Special Education program at Margaret Chase Smith School. The role of the Social Worker is to support students on IEPs to navigate their program and develop skills where those deficits impact their ability to access their academic and social programming. Work on friendships, emotions and school based/age appropriate issues are addressed in an individual and small group setting. Services are provided across all settings as needed.
