SUMMARY:
The Correspondent Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of correspondent credit union partners, ensuring that all partners and borrowers receive exceptional service, and that their loan processes are handled efficiently.
This role involves working closely with credit union mortgage teams, Servion’s underwriting and closing team to ensure smooth loan origination, approval, and closing processes. The Mortgage Account Manager is the primary point of contact for assigned correspondent partners and is responsible for managing their files throughout the lifecycle of the loan.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner Relationship Management:
- Assist with new partner onboarding.
- Act as the primary point of contact for correspondent mortgage teams throughout the loan process.
- Assist partners with inquiries about mortgage products, rates, and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Loan Processing & Documentation:
- Review and analyze loan applications to ensure all necessary documents are provided and complete.
- Work with partners and advise on required information for underwriting, such as income verification and property details.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies during the loan process.
- Maintain partner contact ensuring timely updates and correct information in the system.
- Customer Support and Problem Resolution:
- Address partner concerns, questions, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Work with underwriting and partner teams to resolve issues that may arise during the loan approval or servicing process.
- Navigate the company’s TPO website to provide technical support to partners.
- Trouble shoot AUS errors and provide accurate solutions.
Partner Monitoring & Maintenance:
- Track lock expiration dates.
- Proactively reach out to partners to discuss yearly initiatives.
- Proactively reach out to partners to discuss loan/lock volume.
- Proactively reach out to partners regarding training opportunities or needs.
- Maintain current mortgage team employees.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell mortgage products or services to existing clients.
- Work closely with the Account Executive to promote new mortgage offerings.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all partners comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, mortgage regulations, and best practices.
- Assist in audits and reviews of loan accounts to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
OTHER DUTIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to analyze financial documents and assess loan applications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Must be able to manage and respond to a high volume of partner calls and emails.
- Proficient with loan management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting processes, and relevant regulations (such as RESPA, TILA, etc.).
- Client-focused with a strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Knowledge of mortgage regulations, market trends, and financial products.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
COMPENSATION: $25.26 - $31.57 per hour
Servion has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the company may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: 4-year degree preferred or high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of mortgage experience with positive member relations. Credit union and/or processing experience is preferred.
