Job Summary
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal products according to specific guidelines and blueprints. This role requires expertise in welding, machining, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality fabricated items.
Duties
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as FCAW, Stick welding, and soldering
- Build and assemble metal components using power tools and equipment like plasma cutters
- Operate machinery for cutting, bending, and shaping metal parts
- Utilize cranes for moving heavy materials safely
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
Skills
- Self-starter with a good attitude and communication skills.
- Excellent fit-up and fabrication skills utilizing the power and hand tools, FCAW, GMAW, TiG, and SMAW processes.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Must be organized and capable of multi-tasking in solo and team environments.
- A background in agriculture or heavy equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Willing to accept training, work overtime as required, and travel.
- Valid CA Driver’s License.
- An advanced welding test is given during the interview.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
