Job Role & Summary
As a newly established extension of SERVPRO Restoration, SERVPRO Construction is searching for a Project Manager to join our team! This role serves as the Project Manager for all projects within the franchise counties: Kent, Ionia, Montcalm, Mecosta, Newaygo, and Oceania. You’ll have the opportunity to plan, estimate, oversee, and execute full lifecycle reconstruction projects for while ensuring a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, employees, subcontractors and resource providers involved in reconstruction services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage residential and commercial water, fire, and mold reconstruction/restoration projects including determining scope, schedule, and timeline
- Provide clear and timely communication with all involved parties (staff, subcontractors, insurance agencies, client, vendors, etc.)
- Negotiate terms and set expectations with customers and clients
- Ensure proper paperwork, permits and payment schedules are aligned before, during and after each job
- Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers
- Ensure that project stays within budget and account for any scope changes
- Inspect jobs on a continual basis to ensure quality assurance
- Complete monthly expense reports
- Attend all appropriate company meetings & training sessions
- Additional duties required as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years Construction and Reconstruction experience including:
- Experience in Exactimate estimating software is a must
- Ability to read plans and blueprints
- Solid knowledge of residential and commercial construction
- 5 years Project Management Experience
- Ability to manage costs without sacrificing quality
- Ability to lead subcontractors
- Superb customer service
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience working with adjusters
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- A valid drivers license with 4 points or less
