Job Summary
As a vital member reporting to the Vice President of Digital Marketing, the Senior SEO Manager will spearhead the organic growth strategy and execution for our organization. This role blends in-depth SEO expertise—spanning on-page, technical, and off-page aspects—with strong business insight. You will define objectives, KPIs, and metrics, while closely monitoring the performance of all SEO initiatives. With a clear perspective on SEO trends, you will lead and share valuable thought leadership.
The Senior SEO Manager will excel as a team leader and an invaluable collaborator. This hands-on, player-coach role will involve mentoring the SEO team while also actively driving initiatives cross-functionally with content, design, UX, operations, development, and agencies. You will educate the broader digital team on best SEO practices tailored to their specialties. Communicating effectively with senior management and stakeholders, you will provide strategic guidance and clear prioritization for SEO projects, always aware of and responsive to organizational goals.
You will
Conduct comprehensive SEO opportunity research, including Share of Voice and keyword analysis.Develop and put into action robust SEO strategies that enhance organic search rankings, drive targeted traffic, and improve overall efficiency.Focus on local strategies to generate demand at scale for SERVPRO’s numerous franchise locations across the U.S. and Canada.Lead efforts to optimize Google Business Profiles nationwide for improved performance.Oversee teams focused on SEO, content development, user experience, link-building, and web development.Carry out thorough website audits to pinpoint content and technical SEO issues, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.Collaborate with development and IT teams to optimize website domains, redirects, content, metadata, backlinks, and overall site architecture for enhanced search visibility and user experience.Leverage data-driven decision-making. Provide regular reporting on content gap analysis, competitor performance, and closely monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, and other relevant tools.Stay informed about Google algorithm updates, industry best practices, and trends that may impact business performance.Utilize A / B testing and other methodologies to measure the effectiveness of SEO tactics.Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between SEO strategies and broader business objectives.Present SEO performance insights and reports to leadership in a clear, impactful manner, demonstrating SEO’s value while offering actionable improvement recommendations.You have
8 years of SEO experience, including a minimum of 4 years leading initiatives for large brands, with a preference for expertise in affiliates, marketplaces, and local marketing optimization at scale.Demonstrated experience in managing a team of direct reports, overseeing agencies, and successfully mentoring staff towards senior roles.A deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research methodologies, and information architecture.A proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies that achieve significant business results.Practical experience managing Google Business Profiles.A strong history of success in driving organic search growth and enhancing website performance.Proficiency in complex analytical problem-solving and a keen competitive drive.A strong passion for learning and thriving in fast-paced environments.Bachelor's degree in a data-focused discipline such as business, economics, statistics, or technology.Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.About SERVPRO
