Job Summary
This position will oversee the complex Government Account contracts process and manage the request for proposal (RFP) process, collaborating with attorneys and both internal and external business personnel. Additionally, this role will support the company's strategic initiative to expand its market presence in the public sector (federal, state, and local). Furthermore, this position will undertake special projects and contribute to the Legal Department's key initiatives and strategic plan.
You will
Manage Government Account, RFP and non-disclosure agreement (“NDA”) contracts, including scheduling and attending meetings, preparing meeting minutes, managing contract negotiation and contract revision process, redline edits, weekly status reports, monthly and quarterly reports.Assist with other types of contracts (commercial / national account) and respond to requests for NDAs.Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the contract management database for each agreement submitted to the legal department for review.Manage version control, finalization, execution, and storage of all assigned contracts.Review incoming documents / agreements and identify exceptions to approved contract templates.Manage / facilitate the end-to-end contracting process, including the submission of contract drafts to internal stakeholders for review, managing the redline process with customers and approved contract execution.Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients.Provide weekly status reports to the Deputy General Counsel, Associate General Counsel and Operations Manager.Complete special projects as assigned, within the required timeframe.General department administrative duties including answering calls and emails from internal and external clients or customers.You have
Paralegal certificationMinimum of three years of paralegal – government contract and office / administrative experienceUnderstanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations System (FARS)Understanding of Job Order Contracting (JOC)Computer and technical knowledge as well as strong analytical and organizational skills.Ability to manage a major contract process involving core clients, several internal departments and tight deadlinesAbility to understand general contract terms and conditionsAbility to effectively multi-task and work in a fast- paced environmentStrong communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and ability to be attuned to other's needs through active listening and interpersonal skillsEducation
