Job Summary

The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing a comprehensive category marketing plan for products, including creating and delivering appropriate marketing materials, cross-selling/up-selling opportunities, and the proposal of impactful promotions. The Product Marketing Specialist is also responsible for furthering the internal marketing for Product Sales and the Resource Center, along with paid marketing coordination for any assigned vendors. The Product Marketing specialist works closely with several departments and teams including Product Sales, Resource Center, eCommerce Operations, Warehouse, Cleaning Products, Purchasing, Document Restoration, Vehicle Sales, and Equipment Rental all relating to marketing, digital technology and products to ensure a superior customer experience, drive engagement, evolve the sales strategy and ensure channel growth to best drive sales and conversion

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in content and online marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Analytics. Salesforce and InDesign a plus. Able to identify and work with print file types.
  • Demonstrated technical and creative writing skills.
  • Concrete understanding of content authoring and delivery principles and how these can be applied at SERVPRO to drive Sales & Marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of individuals with ability to develop, gain interdepartmental consensus, and implement innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to apply innovative ideas and critical thinking to projects within a structured environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with an eye for design.
  • Strong project management mindset and self-motivation critical.
  • Ability to handle stress, use good judgment, and make sound decisions.
  • Assist with all aspects of eCommerce / inventory operations across 3,000 SKUs and growing
  • Research and stay current on content marketing trends and the restoration industry as a whole.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
  • In addition to the essential job functions described above, all employees will perform duties and assist with special projects as requested by management.

Required Qualification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.

Education

Bachelor?s Degree or combination of comparable education and experience. Experience working in/with Affiliate, Sales and Marketing Teams.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced, high pressure office environment.
  • Standard working hours, based on a 40-hour work week.
  • Additional working hours required as needed to complete assignments and projects on schedule.
  • Minimal travel as required for business needs.
  • Occasional weekend and overnight travel for special events and projects.
