Servpro of Charlottesville is Hiring a Restoration Supervisor.

This position offers hourly pay with the potential to earn between $55,000 and $70,000 annually, depending on hours worked and performance incentives, including, on-call bonuses, overtime and PPE pay. Paid vacation and paid time off amount to over 4 weeks per year.

I am not going to write a bunch of daily responsibilities that 80% of you all will not read so let’s get into it.

This job requires physical labor, so if that is not what you are looking for, you can stop reading right now. On a daily basis, we tear up floors, remove drywall, suck up water, set up drying equipment, clean up contamination from mold, and fires. On a regular basis, you will be required to lift at least 50 pounds.

We are often the first people on the scene after someone has a major disaster in their home, so if you get satisfaction from helping others, then this position might be the perfect fit for you.

Most days, the hours are 7:45-5 Monday through Friday, but since we are a growing team, there are times we have to stay a little late to get done what we need to. There is also an emergency response on call rotation (one week period) that comes with a $100 bonus per week and a $50 bonus for every job responded to.

Job Summary
As a Crew Supervisor in the restoration industry, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of a team engaged in fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficient and effective restoration projects.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a crew of restoration technicians to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate crew schedules and assign daily tasks
- Train new team members on restoration techniques, safety protocols, and proper equipment usage
- Inspect work sites to ensure quality standards are met
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, and equipment for restoration tasks
- Oversee mold remediation, water damage restoration, and other restoration activities

Experience

- Ability to lead a team effectively and maintain a positive work environment
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and related processes
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
