Summary:
The National Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's AR activity across all its SERVPRO Franchise locations, as well as sister companies providing equipment rental, and other related services. The Accounts Receivable Manager ensures accurate and timely collection and application of payments on residential and commercial projects. This position will manage the accounts receivable team, as well as coordinate with other departments to resolve collection disputes and discrepancies. This is a National Position that will oversee essential components of our cash flow in eight companies across several states (and counting), therefore a seasoned AR Professional is the only possible fit.

Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the Accounts Receivable function of the multiple SERVPRO franchises and sister companies.
- Ensure timely and accurate receivables, manage customer accounts, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare reports for upper management.
- Manage a small team of AR Representatives to collect invoices across multiple states and companies. Industries include Restoration,
- Construction, Roofing, Equipment Rental, and Environmental Abatement.
- Hire, Train and Manage Accounts Receivable team, while working in tandem with Operations, Legal Counsel and Accounting
- Departments to ensure receivables/payments are on time and accurate.
- Meet regularly with accounting staff and our CFO to apprise them of expected funds to help manage cash flow. Attend financial meetings to gain perspective into the company’s overall financial well-being and identify key A/R goals.
- Personally negotiate and collect our largest balances in a hands-on management role from insurance adjusters, homeowners, business owners, or other SERVPRO franchise owners.
- Work directly with attorneys on our most challenging outstanding balances to ensure legal compliance on items that may require litigation, or more aggressive collection strategy.
- 5 years of Office Manager or Adjuster experience in either Mitigation, Construction, Environmental Abatement, or Roofing is required. This is not a good fit for someone new to the insurance industry – applicants without this experience will not be considered.
- Some A/R experience is required, but industry experience is more important to negotiate competently with insurance representatives.
- Strong Negotiation skills, and a desire to be diligent in receiving payments for our company.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation, grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times. This position will represent our company more than most other positions.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to report directly to an Executive Team of the largest SERVPRO Operator currently in the network.
- The ability to work well with others who are remote is required, as this position spans multiple states and businesses.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and QuickBooks®
- Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Proficient with Xactimate® estimating software.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
