We are a thriving SERVPRO franchise, and are seeking a Marketing Representative to help promote and sell our system services in an established and expanding territory throughout Northern Michigan. The primary role for this position will be to help grow our current customer base and develop new relationships in an assigned area while meeting sales goals, utilizing route sales, business development, and commercial business development while participating in entertainment and networking events. Candidate should be comfortable with cold calling on businesses and centers of influence and assertive in securing leads.
The position is full time, salary plus commission based and will require some flexibility in hours dependent upon business needs. Desired candidate should be able to travel 80%, in Northern Michigan during the business day (a company vehicle is provided), have a valid drivers license with a good driving record, be self-motivated and have superb interpersonal skills.

Primary Responsibilities
· Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle, setting up closing appointments, maintaining assigned contact lists, participating in professional associations, and promoting continuing education (CE) courses.
· Complete Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs) and discuss benefits of emergency event preparation.
· Build customer relationships and rapport by educating them on the reasons SERVPRO® is the best cleaning and restoration company in the world.
· Compile and maintain center of influence information.
· Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving sales territory goals.
Position Requirements
· A minimum two years of business-to-business sales experience
· Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector
· Superb sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills
· Strong business and financial background and process-and-results-driven attitude
· Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is a huge plus
· A good working knowledge of current business software technologies is required
· Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
