Fire and Water Restoration Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other damages. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality restoration services to our clients while ensuring their properties are safe and habitable.

Responsibilities

• Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
• Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe environments for clients.
• Execute fire restoration projects, including cleaning and rebuilding affected areas.
• Utilize power tools effectively for various restoration tasks.
• Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process.
• Handle asbestos abatement when required, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop effective restoration plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project.
• Communicate with clients regarding the restoration process and any necessary follow-up actions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures is a plus.
• Familiarity with mold remediation techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Experience in water damage restoration practices is beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
