Job Description:
The team member will assist with drywall repairs including, but not limited to, texturing, sanding, drywall patches, painting, operation of drywall tradesman tools, and working closely with other staff to ensure homeowner and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Paint, color match, and repair homeowner issues with drywall and similar tasks.
- Ability to hang wall and ceiling drywall without seams or bubbles.
- Communicate daily with managers.
- Extensive knowledge in drywall/painting process.
- Extremely reliable & dependable (time management & punctuality).
- Follow directions from a supervisor.
- Team player.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Perform other duties not listed.
- Perform final walk-through with customer and secure a signed Completion of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer.
Qualifications:
- Ability to use basic hand and trade tools.
- Ability to texture match for interior drywall.
- Minimum 2-years hands on journeyman level drywall experience.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
