SERVPRO of Portland is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contents Cleaner to join our restoration team. The primary responsibility of this role is to clean, restore, and inventory contents affected by fire, water, and mold damage. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and restore household and commercial contents damaged by fire, water, and mold using specialized cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaned and restored items, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Pack, move, and store items properly to prevent further damage.
- Assist with on-site and off-site content restoration projects as required.
- Work collaboratively with the restoration team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Follow SERVPRO’s cleaning and safety protocols to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Operate cleaning tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of customer contents. Forklift Operation for moving containers - will train if not certified
- Previous experience in contents cleaning, restoration, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures accurately.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to undergo training and obtain relevant certifications as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
