Residential Construction Administrator

Summary

This position is responsible for monitoring incoming construction leads, converting jobs to active status, confirming completion of work, and finalizing customer invoicing. This role works closely with the construction team to maintain an accurate work-in-progress board and audit daily documentation for all job files. This role will also review the scope, estimate, and job file documentation to ensure all work performed is accurately invoiced

Key Responsibilities

·  Enter leads and projects into the operating system and manage the construction database.

·  Assist with the scheduling of construction activities.

·  Review and validate project file documentation, ensure all paperwork is complete with customers, clients, and vendors.

·  Perform project close-out and prepare project reports.

·  Assist with customer and client agreement on scope of work and estimate.

·  Confirm project scope of work is complete.

·  Ensure estimates are distributed to all necessary parties.

·  Assist with the acquisition of permits, schedule inspections with building departments, and ensure all procedures are followed with local municipalities.

·  Assist with subcontractor agreements and maintain contractor insurance and licensing status.

Qualifications

·  High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

·  Experience with administrative support, preferably in a construction or restoration environment.

·  Superb customer service, verbal and written communication skills.

·  Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required.

·  Intermediate math skills.

·  Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and clean driving record; subject to applicable law.
